Redcliffe City Clay Target Club Inc's Annual Shoot was held at the club grounds at Clontarf on Sunday 13/9/09.

A total of 43 shooters competed - for a range of trophies, sashes – all grades were represented, including a Ladies contingent.  Overall High gun for the day, was won by Bill Koitka with a score of 196/200, a local Redcliffe member. We had competitors from Kingaroy, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Toogoolawah, Warwick, Gympie, Chincilla   Gold Coast. Our High gun Lady, Rebecca Vary 170/200, of the day hails from Richmond River NSW.   A tasty light lunch was included in the nomination fee and we would like to acknowledge that this was again served in an efficient and friendly manner with assistance from a good club friend but non member, our President's wife, Yvonne Fowles. Thanks also to Kim Zeller (also not a member, but partner to a member) for her stellar effort in running the office. All the members who supported the shoot in any way are also thanked for their work.   The club also wishes to thank all our sponsors for their generous support and acknowledges that without this local support our Annual Shoot would not have been as successful as it was. Our sponsors this year were; Pine Rivers Lock and Gun, SNS Painters, Cleaver Firearms, Charlie Bell, Barry Wiseman, Ric Cleminson, Gwen Colley   Grant Paviour.
